Twinity’s All-New Female Avatars

You may have noticed that Twinity’s female avatars were ready for a makeover. So as of today, please welcome Twinity’s new female avatars!

Your new female avatar is visible when you log in to Twinity. We have remodeled her entire body, giving her a more oval face, a more elegant neck and shoulders, and much more female body proportions. Her animations have also been tweaked to give her a slinkier walk, as well as more feminine moods and facial expressions.

All your current avatar settings still apply. However your new avatar will still look different, because of her new head and body shape. You will probably need to adjust your body and face settings to get the perfect look, but these kind of problems should be easy to remedy. In some cases we recommend repeating PhotoFit to get a more genuine facial appearance.

We have also improved Twinity’s female avatar creation tools, letting you set your female avatar’s waist and hip size, and give her a more accurate age. Your previous outfits have been given an optimized fit and hairstyles have been remodeled. And for the very first time, additional jewelry options are available, such as rings, bracelets, and necklaces. For those of you looking to update your wardrobe, there are also many new summer clothes to choose from.

We hope you enjoy the new female avatar and look forward to your feedback! Take part in our mini survey below and tell us what you think about the new female avatars, or if you have more to say, drop an email to support@twinity.com or write a comment to this entry.

the avatar isnt ready… you should get back the old version and bring it later… most outfits are not available… or some of them have really hard bugs. my head is too small and i cant get i bigger. the neck is too long. some animations ar double and some are gone. some are worse some are better. it looks like the work is simply not done yet. so please bring the new avatar when its DONE!

Ahh are you working on a new male avatar or are we stuck with the one that there is now?

    • @Essaidi, There is not a new male avatar in the near-term future plans for us. However, we’d love to hear your feedback about what’s good or bad with the current male avatar.

  4. Essaidi

course the male avatar, is ugly and i don’t think that is fair… but ofc its your game…

Yes i will do it when i get home from work, im sorry that i said it in that way before (the ugly part)

But i will write it to you when i get home, and can you tell me the mail or do you want me to write it in here ?

    • @Essaidi, no worries at all. Whenever you have feedback, just send it over. We have no strong preference on email vs blog, but on the blog, other members can add their opinions as well, so we might get more feedback there.

I’m sorry, but even though the added customization of the female figure (hips, waist, etc) was great, other things were not so great.

    1. My avatar now bleeds through certain clothing. This never happened before.

    2. The crotch area looks like it was raised too high, making the zipper lines on jeans and pants look absurdly short. If you were looking to give all pants a “low rise” look, it doesn’t work. Everything looks unnatural below the belly button.

You can see pictures of what I mean here, where I took snapshots of my avatar:

    • @Dee Riley, thanks so much for the feedback. Our team has looked at your blog and the screenshots you took. We see the problem and we’re working on it. Thanks again, jeremy
